Could Pink be for you? 🎀

Inevitably pink is the new favourite colour at the moment because of the new Barbie film and I'm here for it!

When you first think of pink you think of that baby pink colour used in “girl's room”, but I’ve been inspired! I’ve been searching on Pinterest to show how you can incorporate pink into interiors. Here are some personal favourites!

As pink is such an elegant and sophisticated colour it makes a great colour to use in your living room. Give a nice blush pink ago instead of your whites and beige and watch your room transform into a rich, calm feeling room. Another great thing is that it almost matches any colour as long as it’s kept in the same colour tone.

💡 Here’s a little fun fact for you - pink is known as a calming colour, So much so that it’s been known in some countries that prison cells are painted pink. This has also been applied to some away changing rooms.

So, let’s look at ways you can incorporate this lovely colour into your interiors.

  1. How about a statement piece, take a look at that 2nd photo, that beautiful soft pink velvet sofa and chaise lounge adds an element of texture and character to the room.

  2. Painting all walls in a lovely light pink will help to create a light airy room. The light will bounce around the room, which also helps to create the illusion of a larger space.

  3. If you wanted to go for a darker, stronger pink stick to using them on south facing walls as these are the places that get more natural light.
